Calabash Night 1

For those who don't know, Calabash is one of the world's premier literary festivals, and is held in a little sea side town called Treasure Beach nearby Calabash Bay in St. Elizabeth. Some of the most gifted authors, poets, artistes, and readers from all over the world assemble in this very warm, but very beautiful town to share in an amazing literary experience. One of the highlights of the festival, apart from the amazing readings of poems, short stories and novels, is the music. Some of Jamaica's most gifted musicians and performers entertain the crowd with great musical arrangements and conscious uplifting lyrics. The first night was no exception as two of our younger talented bands offered musical enjoyment and plenty vibes. The rootsy Raging Fyah and unique NoMaddz had the crowd on their feet and out of their beds until the a.m.
