And that was call for much celebration. My cousin, her mother, pulled out all the stops: entourage, convoy, "changing of the shoe", changing of the dress, The Atrium (a beautiful venue), and banging DJ's (people still say banging, right?). It had all the ingredients of one of those sweet 16 parties you see on TV (without the car), but Tonie made it special and memorable. To me, the most memorable, aspect was the moving and emotional lighting of her sixteen candles. It was good to be there....
