Marlon and LaDeana

It's always a joy to see your friends that you grew up with - friends you've known from 'yuh eye deh a yuh knee' - start making 'big people' moves and life changing decisions. One such decision is to commit to being someone's life partner in marriage. My brother from another mother, mi bredda, made that move two weeks ago. Committing to the love of his life, LaDeana (the new Mrs. McIntyre), on the white sands of Laughing Water. I followed him through the course of his day, beginning as he finalised his speech and made sure he and his groomsmen were their sharpest, to the first dance as Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre.
It was a beautiful ceremony filled with beautiful people, cute babies, precious moments, and unforgettable words of love and encouragement. All in attendance could not deny the love that was on display, and though the evening grew cold, windy and rainy, it's warmth kept all in good spirits.
Congratulations Marlon mi bredda and LaDeana! May the Lord continue to bless you both as you grow from strength to strength as one.

Untold Stories

Dance has a unique way of telling a story. It gets you involved emotionally in a way that few other forms expression can replicate. If done well, a dance takes you from your seat and places you in the story. The storytellers make themselves vulnerable bearing all, and you trust them to become vulnerable also - immersing yourself in the story.
One Body One God (OBOG), became as vulnerable as any could in revealing their Untold Stories. An emotional heartfelt spiritual journey, which consisted of real life testimonies, words of encouragement and anthems of praise. The dancers laid it all at "The Altar" which resulted an unforgettable experience , and I was blessed to be there.
May the Lord continue to bless OBOG richly that they may continue to do mighty works and bless us with unforgettable stories through dance....
